1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
1 cup golden syrup
1 dessertspoon ground ginger
3 ½ cups flour
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
Melt the sugar, butter and golden syrup in a pot. Add the rest of the ingredients and
mix it all together with a wooden spoon.
Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking tray leaving room for the
biscuits to spread. Flatten each ball slightly then cook for 10 12 minutes at about
120 degrees Celsius. Let the biscuits cool before removing them from the tray.
