1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
1 cup golden syrup
1 dessertspoon ground ginger
3 cups flour
tsp salt
1 tsp Baking Soda


Melt the sugar, butter and golden syrup in a pot. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix it all together with a wooden spoon.
Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking tray leaving room for the biscuits to spread. Flatten each ball slightly then cook for 10 – 12 minutes at about 120 degrees Celsius. Let the biscuits cool before removing them from the tray.


My Nana would let me help her make these when I went to stay at their house and they are yummy!
