Simon loves these yummy biscuits.
4 oz of butter
- 4 oz of sugar
- 8 oz of flour
- 1 tablespoon of milk
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 dessertspoon of golden syrup
- 1 cup of raisins
- vanilla essence
the butter, sugar and golden syrup in a pot big enough to take all
the ingredients. Mix
in the milk and baking soda. Add
the flour, raisins and vanilla and mix the ingredients well. Roll
the mixture into balls and place them on a greased tray, leaving
room for the biscuits to spread.
Flatten the balls with a fork.
Bake the biscuits in a moderate oven until they’re
golden. Leave the
biscuits to cool a little on the tray then place them on a cooling
rack to cool completely before storing them in an airtight
