Britney loves this toffee.  ****Please be very careful when you make toffee as it gets extremely hot and you can badly burn yourself .
Ingredients:
2 cups of sugar
1 cup of water
1 teaspoon of vinegar
1 teaspoon of butter

Instructions:
Put sugar, water, vinegar and butter into a saucepan. Heat the mixture gently, stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves. Stop stirring and bring the mixture to the boil. Let the mixture boil until the surface seems to have soft cracks in it (about 7 minutes) Very carefully pour the mixture into a shallow buttered tin.  Leave the toffee to cool for a while then mark it into squares with a knife.  This will make it easier to cut when it's cool.
