This is Ellen’s delicious recipe – it’s her favourite
- Ingredients:
Small or large pita bread
Butter, softened
Garlic, crushed
Grated cheese
Sesame seeds or poppy seeds
Instructions:
Get someone to cut the pita bread in half,
horizontally so you make big round circles. Mix the butter and garlic together.
Spread spilt side of pita bread halves with butter mixture. Top with sesame
seeds or poppy seeds and cheese. Cut the circles of bread into wedges.
Place the wedges in a single layer on an oven tray. Bake at 190 degrees Celsius for ten minutes or until golden.
Serve hot or cold.
This would make a great after school snack or party food.
