Desiccated coconut for coating
2 tablespoons of Nestle baking cocoa
1/2 can of sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
2 cups of plain sweet biscuit crumbs
10-12 marshmallows cut in half
Heat the butter, cocoa, brown sugar, and
condensed milk in a medium sized saucepan until the butter and
sugar just melt and the mixture is smooth. Stir the mixture
all the time.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla essence
and biscuit crumbs until itís mixed thoroughly. Leave the
mixture until it is cool enough to shape.
With wet hands shape some of the mixture around each marshmallow,
forming a ball. Roll the balls in coconut and put them on a tray
lined with wax paper.
Refrigerate until firm and store in a container. Then enjoy as a
