There
are lots of different ways to make cheese rolls – Rebecca loves
this way.
- Ingredients:
- 1 tin of reduced cream
- 1 packet of dried onion soup mix
- 250 grams of tasty cheese
- 2 loaves of bread, cut sandwich thickness
(white bread is best)
- Slices of ham (optional)
Instructions:
Butter one side of each
piece of bread. Mix
together the reduced cream, onion soup mix and tasty cheese.
If you’re using ham place a slice on the unbuttered slice
of half the pieces of bread. If
not just spread the cheese mixture on the unbuttered side of the
bread. Roll the bread
up and push a toothpick through it to hold it together or lay it
fold side down so the corners stay together.
Place the rolls on a baking tray and bake at 180 degrees
Celsius for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes:
If you don’t want to
cook these all at once freeze the unbaked rolls and then defrost
them before baking.
